Hi,
Im trying to install ESXi on my server which has mirrored HDD's.
My problem is that after installing ESXi and the computer reboots I am told that the RAID volume is degraded so one of the HDD's is reverted back to "Non-RAID Disk".
If I ignore this then ESXi boots up fine and i have no problems, apart from the fact the my HDD's are not mirrored.
If I select "Rebuild RAID volume" then I am told this will be rebuilt within an operating system. When I exit this page ESXi does not boot up and I am taken to a screen that says something about DCHP mac and PXE error, and nothing happens.
The only way to move forward from this it to; reboot, remove the RAID volume, Add it again, then reinstall ESXi, but obviously I end up with the same problem.
Does anybody have an idea why this is happening?
Any help will be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Max
